Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District

Full Court Press provided a series of media trainings to the board, staff, and park rangers of Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District.

Our Client’s Opportunity

Leadership, staff, and park rangers felt they would benefit from a refresh on effectively delivering messages to press and answering their questions.

The Solutions We Offered

FCP worked with Midpen communications staff to develop a media training that included: the anatomy of a newsroom, developing key messages and talking points, best practices for radio and on-camera interviews, answering tough questions, and more.

FCP adjusted the presentation based on the attendees’ roles and responsibilities to maximize value for board, staff, and park rangers.

Each session also included a workshop where attendees could practice delivering talking points and answering tough questions.

The Results We Delivered

By the conclusion of each training, attendees felt more confident and ready to handle media inquiries. They also felt prepared to handle tough questions from reporters.
