Conrad N. Hilton Foundation

Media Relations Strategy Results in Top-Tier Media Coverage for Foundation

Our Client’s Opportunity

Since 1944 The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation (CNHF) has worked to improve the lives of individuals living in poverty and experiencing disadvantage throughout the world.

In 2014, the CNHF and the Corporation for Supportive Housing came to FCP for earned media,  social media, and video production services to help change the conversation on homelessness in Los Angeles.

In addition, FCP was asked to help the foundation to create and deliver messaging around a highly visible executive transition.

The Solutions We Offered

FCP knew that in order to shift the conversation, communicating the need to fund supportive housing in the LA region to policymakers and peer funders would be pivotal. Once these key audiences were identified and the message was developed, FCP then supported the campaign with the creation of:

  • Social media content
  • Video content
  • Media materials
  • Earned media materials
  • Internal and externally focused talking points

The Results We Delivered

Our creation of compelling video content told real stories about the impact of supportive housing for two LA residents, resulting in earned media coverage from the Los Angeles Times and many other outlets.

“Full Court Press provided invaluable support when I was working on the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation’s initiative to end chronic homelessness–from identifying key audiences to developing messaging that would resonate with them and creating content that the Foundation continues to use to this day. Full Court Press supplied strategic counsel and tactical advice, serving as an extension of our small communications team. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services to anyone seeking to make a positive social impact in the world.”
