Alisa Alva, Director of Operations, She/Her/Hers

Alisa Alva oversees our client success efforts, new business development, Spanish-language translation, and office operations. Prior to joining FCP, Alisa worked for former U.S. Representative Jerry McNerney (CA-09) for nearly 15 years, serving as his District Director and Senior Advisor until he retired at the end of 2022. During her time with Congressman McNerney, Alisa oversaw his district staff, elected official outreach, district event planning, constituent services for a district of more than 600,000 residents, and coordinated local press events related to key legislation and announcements.

Alisa graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies with a specialization in Spanish language. After college, she lived in Guanajuato, Mexico for three years where she fine-tuned her Spanish and became fluent. During these three years, she also taught English as a second language to students at the University of Guanajuato. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
